| Title |
Second interview with Amy, 17, British, working class, Roman Catholic. Women, Risk and AIDS Project, London, 1990. Anonymised version. (Ref: LSFS4)
|
| Description |
Anonymised transcript of a follow up interview with Amy, who is finishing up her painting and decorating exams. Since the original interview she had been kicked out of her parent's home following a series of arguments with them. She has been living with her partner, but they recently broke up as he is questioning his sexual orientation. This has made Amy challenge her own homophobic beliefs that had been rife in original interview. Amy thinks she is much more mature now, especially in her attitude towards condom use, alcohol and risk, and would like to be settled down in the next few years.
