Title
A Relative's Vase
Description
This vase was made by a relative of mine who identifies as a woman. She gave this to my family following her transition. I decided to submit this object because it mirrored her happiness after so many difficult years. I think of her often, as she has encouraged me to be inclusive in my feminism, to always work towards intersectionality and to work against the epistemic violence that is inherent in the gender binary. So, whilst this does not outwardly look like a feminist object, it has come to embody a feminism that I identify with and hold close to my heart.
